The funniest comedians in Hong Kong, all on one show!
Catch this month’s headliner before he leaves Hong Kong forever, never to return, the Phenomenal AJ Backhouse!
AJ Backhouse delivers his unique perspective of growing up with a mixed racial identity to the Hong Kong stand up comedy scene. AJ has shared the stage with marquee acts such as Paul Ogata, Tom Rhodes, and Pablo Francisco. He was selected for the Bangkok International Comedy Competition 2018 and Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. A regular host of the oldest running open mic in Hong Kong – primarily for the free beer – stand up comedy makes his alcoholism slightly more economical.
Alex Camp is a British comedian living in Tokyo, Japan, known for tight jokes and long stories about cute stuff and naughty stuff. He runs Stand Up Tokyo and has hosted or opened (sometimes both) for Tom Rhodes, Phil Wang, Pete Johansson, Taylor Williamson, Yuriko Kotani, Lou Sanders, Steve Bugeja, Jenny Zigrino and more. He has performed at the Comedy Stores in both London and Los Angeles and is working his way ‘round Asia, appearing at TakeOut Comedy in HK, and Comedy Haven in Seoul.
Jeen Yee is a San Francisco based stand-up comedian who has performed at Cobb’s Comedy Club, and the San Francisco Punch Line. Most recently, Jeen was selected for the World Series of Comedy, telling jokes in cities throughout the US. She has also won the Saddle Rack Comedy Championship and Tommy T’s Monthly Competition. Jeen has performed stand-up in Spanish and English, and her comedy travels have spanned five countries, including Mexico, Taiwan, and Turkey. Her travels and teaching experiences allow for perceptive interpretations of people of all different ages, places, and number of teeth. Onstage, Jeen is a delight. At once intimate and expansive, Jeen leaves audiences feeling like they have just shared a moment with someone.
