All you funk and ska music lovers, we're so sad to announce that this show, will be moved to 22nd August.
If this revised date does not work for you, please contact zicket.co to arrange for a refund. We are so looking forward to dancing and skanking with you all in August.
Early bird ticketing will now be extended to 31st July 2020.
Don't underestimate opening act Sunrise- this teenage duo are set to stun with their sophisticated sound, electrifying stage presence, and raw musical talent.
Then it's time for new boys on the block The Funkaphones to take the stage. Their sound comprises a deft mix of funk, pop, and pure unadulterated fun, transporting their audience back to the 70s. Think Hall and Oates meets Maroon 5.
Next on the bill is The Riddem Section, whose dynamic style is rooted in all things rhythm and groove. Peppered throughout with tangible hip-hop flavors, their tunes are guaranteed to get you dancing.
Finally, the show will close out with legendary The Red Stripes, Hong Kong's premier ska/mod squad who have played festivals and shows all over Asia. Find out what skanking really means as you jam out with this awesome 11-piece band: anthemic choruses, hard-hitting riffs, and a bombastic horn section guaranteed.
Due to the imminent closure of Wanchai's The Hub, this event will now take place at Rula Live (58-62 D'Aguilar Street, Central).
Situated in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong, Rula Live's spacious dance floor, generous stage space, and convenient location make it a truly spectacular alternative host venue for our inaugural Funk Ska Nation. We think you'll be impressed.
Come on down to Rula Live, on August 22 for a boot-stomping evening, combining two eclectic musical genres to keep you on your feet and rocking out all night! Get your tickets now; early bird ends July 31, 2020.
*Please note, this event was originally scheduled for January 18th 2020*
